11th Annual Adult Summer Reading Program
For Perennial Readers
June 7 - August 7, 2010
How The Program Works:
¨ Join the program by registering at your home library.
¨ Read 8 (adult) books from the required genres from June 7 through August 7 - (Sorry “How To” books such as books about cooking, decorating, crafts, repair, etc. may not be used in this program.) All books must be acquired through the Gary Byker Memorial Library of Hudsonville.
¨ Required genres include: Non-Fiction/Biography, Mystery, Historical, Inspirational (to you), Science Fiction/Fantasy, Newbery Medal or Honor Book, Animals in Fact or Fiction, and Your Choice.
¨ Each time you finish a book fill out (completely) one of the mini-review slips provided, including author, title, your brief review, as well as your name and telephone number and turn it in at the Library on or before Monday, August 7, 2007.
¨ Those participants who read eight books will receive their choice of a finishing prize that includes choices of a mini-flashlight, a pair or bookends, or a $5 Gift Certificate from Gemmen’s. All finishers will be registered to win our grand prize of a $100 Gift Certificate from Gemmen’s. On Monday, August 9, the Grand Prize Winner will be announced and all finishing prizes will be available.
